Max image size for image upload

The imageMaxSize option caps the size of images uploaded through the built-in File Manager. The limit is given in bytes and defaults to 2097152 (2 MB).

An upload above the limit is rejected with a notification and never reaches storage.

WARNING

The limit is checked after resizing and compression, so it applies to the file that would be stored rather than the one the user picked. A large image that compresses below the limit is accepted. Uploads handled by a custom file manager bypass the check entirely, since the built-in File Manager is what enforces it.
