Email Blocks Config

Custom Order for Default Premade Block Groups

Topol's default premade block groups can now sit anywhere among your own groups. Inside the premadeBlocks.blocks array, a preset marker such as { preset: "footer" } is replaced by Topol's default group of that type, in the same position. The four presets are header, content, ecommerce, and footer, and the sidebar shows the groups in the same order as the array.

Custom groups used to always come first, followed by Header, Content, E-commerce, and Footer in a fixed order, so a group of dynamic products could never sit next to E-commerce. The override flag still decides what happens to the default groups you don't list: with override: false they are added at the end, and with override: true they are left out.

Each preset can appear only once. A repeated or unknown preset is rejected, and the editor shows an error message. For full details, see the documentation.

Email Config Storage

Option to Disable the Image Editor

Setting imageEditor: false now turns off the built-in Image Editor. The Edit and Create new image buttons disappear from the image settings, and Create new image disappears from the built-in File Manager.

When an image is saved in the Image Editor, the editor uploads it itself, either to Topol storage or, with Self-hosted Storage, to your IMAGE_UPLOAD endpoint. Turning the Image Editor off keeps every image in your own storage. The option was already accepted in the configuration, but until now it did nothing.

Bugfixes

• Email Landing Page Closing or removing one panel, block, or field no longer turns off features elsewhere in the editor, such as comment highlighting, panel resizing, and image fields.
• Email Landing Page The Tiptap formatting toolbar is now loaded only for the text block being edited, not for every text block on the canvas.
• Email Landing Page Failed image uploads now show an error message, including uploads to a self-hosted IMAGE_UPLOAD endpoint, and the file size limit message shows real text instead of a raw translation key.
• Email Landing Page Fixed the Move to folder and Save block folder pickers in saved blocks not showing all folders.
• Email Landing Page A single corrupted saved block no longer stops the whole saved blocks library from loading.
• Email Landing Page The saved blocks panel now scrolls back to the top when you open a folder, search, or change the type or sort order.
• Email Landing Page Number inputs in the settings panels stay in place when the reset (×) button appears.
• Email Landing Page Icons in the image editor's Elements panel now display correctly instead of as broken images, and insert reliably when clicked.
• Email Emails keep their mobile column stacking in Gmail even when the template contains a broken color value, such as ##9E896F.
• Email Fixed merge tags used as color values, such as #, being replaced with the default color. Templates saved between September 2 and September 9 may need those colors set again.
• Email Custom block attributes set as { value, disabled } keep their values instead of falling back to the block defaults.
• Email A column divider can no longer be dragged past the point where the column becomes narrower than its content.
• Email Fixed HTML generation through the API, and save and preview, failing for templates in the older MJML 3 format.
• Email Fixed TinyMCE text editing breaking when a color, column width, or section order changed while TinyMCE was still loading, and button blocks reloading TinyMCE on every color change.
• Email Loop Blocks render correctly in Preview with Merge Tags, test emails, and exported HTML, and invalid loop data no longer breaks the whole preview.
• Email The element defaults in default template settings now show the real default values instead of 0, for example the button's corner radius.
• Landing Page Fixed the fullscreen button not working when the Landing Page Editor is embedded with the loader script.
